This set of documents is designed to provide guidance for the creation of an Ubuntu linux system suitable for amateur radio work.

They are meant to provide a KISS cut-n-paste style of system build. In many cases they take shortcuts around "bugs", instead concentrating on getting a working system. Most of these "bugs" are just a difference in the way libraries, include files, etc. are handled on the source system vs. an ubuntu system. I leave it to others to deal with these issues of portability.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I should state that although I have used unix for many years, I am an ubuntu novice. Fell free to point out any errors in my presentations.

I have tried to organize the documents in some sort of logical manner according to area of ham interest. Look at the README file of each section for more detail.
